Roxy, Quiksilver’s brand for girls, has joined forces with Faction skis, who will design, manufacture and distribute Roxy-branded freestyle and freeride skis next season (15/16). Faction are pulling in the experience of their pro skier and freeride god Candide Thovex to aid in the design.
The new collection aims to combine Faction’s expertise in the development of skis, with Roxy’s experience in marketing products for the female target group. Roxy has also worked with other well-known designers such as Diane von Furstenberg. As part of the deal, Faction has created a new design and distribution unit named Full Stack Supply. This new distribution division has a network of sales people covering 30 countries worldwide. The Faction Collective was founded, in 2006, by Alex Hoye and Tony McWilliam and operates from offices in Verbier, Switzerland, Breckenridge, Colorado and Shoreditch in the U.K.
